LEGAL INFORMATION
Distance Sales Agreement & Terms
Last updated: September 2026
This agreement governs purchases made through giftdeliveryturkey.com between the seller and the buyer. By completing an order, the buyer confirms that the product information, total price, payment method, delivery details and these terms have been reviewed and accepted electronically.
1. Seller
Seller: Yasin Mete Mert, trading through Gift Delivery Turkey
Address: Çelik Sk., Yuvam Apt. No:17/A, Sahrayıcedit Mah., Kadıköy, Istanbul, Türkiye
Email: info@giftdeliveryturkey.com
2. Products and prices
The type, quantity, key characteristics, tax-inclusive price, payment method and delivery information of the purchased product are those shown on the product, cart and checkout pages at the time of order. The buyer is responsible for providing complete recipient and delivery information.
3. Payment and formation
The agreement becomes effective when the order is submitted and payment is successfully authorized. If payment is not completed or is later cancelled by the payment provider, the seller is not obliged to prepare or deliver the order.
4. Preparation, substitution and delivery
Orders are prepared according to the selected product and available seasonal materials. Flowers and perishable items naturally vary. When a specific flower, colour, container or accessory is unavailable, the seller may use an item of equal or higher value while preserving the overall style and value of the arrangement.
Delivery is made to the person or organization stated in the order. The seller is not responsible when the recipient refuses delivery, the address is incorrect or incomplete, access is restricted, or the recipient cannot be reached. Traffic, weather, security restrictions and force majeure may affect the requested delivery window.
5. Service area and cancellation
Some distant districts and neighbourhoods of Istanbul may be outside the delivery area. Orders to unsupported locations may be cancelled and refunded. The seller may also cancel an order when products cannot reasonably be supplied, delivery is impossible, information is inconsistent or payment obligations are not met.
6. Right of withdrawal
Fresh flowers, food products, cakes, personalized gifts and custom-prepared arrangements are perishable or made to order. Under applicable distance-sales rules, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply once preparation has begun. This does not limit the buyer’s rights when an item is defective, damaged or materially different from the order.
7. Complaints and refunds
Problems should be reported promptly with the order number and clear photographs. Where a complaint is accepted, the seller may offer replacement, redelivery, store credit or refund depending on the circumstances. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment channel; bank processing times may vary.
8. Privacy and communication
Order and recipient information is used to process payment, prepare the order, coordinate delivery, provide support and meet legal obligations. The recipient may be contacted when required to complete delivery.
9. Applicable law
Turkish law applies. Consumer applications may be made to the competent Consumer Arbitration Committee or Consumer Court within applicable monetary and territorial limits.
